How many fingers am
I holding up?

The Sterritt Mine is located in the Canada Hill mining district, which also included Sailor Flat, Robertson Flat, and the New York Canyon areas above a fork of the American River. A 1899 California Mines and
Minerals Report stated there was a 10-Stamp mill at the site. Another
Mining Report stated that there were 10 stamps with amalgamation plates,
concentrators, and a cyanide plant installed in 1908. The 10-Stamp Mill was water powered and the mine tunnel was about 1500
feet deep. The entrance to the mine is now caved. |
