We know absolutely nothing about the Winrod Cabin. But what the Hell, its a cool micro hike following a washed away road alongside a pretty creek to this abandoned cabin in the Tahoe National Forest. There's supposed to be a mine here, but we couldn't find it.

  Unless this cabin is stabilized soon, it may collapse before the Forest Service has a chance to burn it down.
